Blustery Photo Contest Rules

The Blustery photo contest is open to everyone, attending the event Breakfast in the Blustery Burbs is not required.
There will be two categories of photos;  1) Winter Scenes and 2) People Geocaching. Both categories are intended to be
geocaching and winter related, not necessarily Blustery.

Simple Rules:
1. Take photos of geocachers and/or winter scenes while you are out geocaching at any time during December 2018.
2. Entry deadline is midnight 12/31/2018.
3. Upload your entries (limit 2 per person) to the photo gallery for the event Breakfast in the Blustery Burbs at
https://coord.info/GC7YRTW.
4. Indicate which category the photo is entered into (if not indicated Judges to assume pics of people are category 2)
5. Adding a descriptive story and/or GC# of the geocache hunted is encouraged but optional.

Contest Finalists:
Prior to the event Breakfast in the Blustery Burbs a panel of judges will cast votes for their three favorite photos in each
category. The three photos which earn the most votes will be finalists in the Blustery Photo Contest.







Winners:
1. During the Breakfast in the Blustery Burbs event, attendees will cast their vote for the best photo in each category.
2. Each event attendee may vote once under each category.  
3. Each member of a geocaching team is eligible to vote.
4. Winners will be announced during the Flash Mob in the Blustery Burbs January 12, 2019 later on facebook.
5. Winners do not need to be present. Prizes may be picked up from Greenback at a time and place mutually agreed to.

Prizes:
Two first place prizes will be awarded, the prizes will likely be Target gift cards unless some great inspiration overtakes me.
• There will be 3-5 judges, and the judges will not be allowed to participate in the contest.

• January 12, 2019 during the event Breakfast in the Blustery Burbs attendees may vote on one photo
per category.
