The Unique Cache Contest Rules

Time to share your very own unique and creative talents with other area geocachers.

  1. Caches must be published between 10 p.m. 10/23/20 and 8 a.m. 10/24/20
  2. They should be a really unique cache container, type of hide or a very creative cache page.
  3. You need to intend to maintain the cache.
  4. You must register for the contest by providing your information to us through www.geocaching.com c/o TomEagle55 by Thursday 10/22/20.
  5. Provide us with:
  • Your first and last name
  • Your mailing address
  • Your phone number
  • Your caching name
  • The GC # of your cache
  • Name of your cache
  1. Caches should be placed within a 15 mile radius of Jason's Deli in Schaumburg.
  2. Prizes will be awarded according to the number of favorite points given to the caches entered in the contest by 9 p.m. on Saturday,
    November 21, 2020.
  1. 1st prize – Official Geocache Maintenance Kit – Brown (value $26)
  2. 2nd Prize - Geocaching Striped Knit Cap with Pom Gray and Blue (value $20)
  3. 3rd Prize - Fall Leaf Geocoin (value $13)

  2. Prizes will be announced on Facebook and on the GC Event Cache Page and the prizes will be mailed to each winner. In the event of a
    tie, an equal value prize will be awarded.
